Bulletin

At Bethel Covenant, we have embraced the mission of being the Light to the Delta.

The staff and leadership at BECC can do that by ...

*connecting you to others for fellowship,
*informing you of opportunities to learn and serve, and
*encouraging each other in our walks with the Lord.

Ways to Connect

Please see our Life Groups for opportunities to join a Bible study or fellowship group.

Ways to Serve

Announcements
  • Bethel Winter House ended for the summer, at the Covenant Church, this morning at 7 AM.
  • We are raising funds for Caring for Kids … a program that provides backpacks and school supplies to children.  Last year we handed out 75 backpacks/school supplies (25 each to ME, Gladys Jung, and KLA) and school supplies to BRHS.  Leftover funds after the purchase for the fall will go toward purchasing Christmas gifts for children.  Please donate here.
  • At this moment, the leadership of the church is praying over how to reopen the church building.  While the decision is being made, we will continue to meet online.
  • Garage sale this weekend for the church benevolence fund.  Please feel free to bring donations to the Jacobson’s home by Friday, June 5th.  Sale time is Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM.
  • Craft supplies for those participating in Children’s Church will be available at the church for pick up on Monday and Tuesday from 1-3.  There are two more Children’s Church sessions (June 2 and 7).
  • Join our FB group for a deeper connection to the church, each other, and resources.
  • The sanctuary will be open to those that wish to pray in it.  We will have photos of people to pray over, if you wish to do that as well.  This is by appointment and confirmation only.  Please text Elisabeth @ (360) 329-4300 to sign up for a time. Monday-Saturday, 10-3.  Some evenings may be available.
  • Bibles, devotionals, and Christian resources are available for free on the sanctuary side of the church.  If you need a Daily Bread or a Bible during this time, please feel free to stop by or text Elisabeth (360) 329-4300 to have one mailed to you.

Breathe on Me Breath of God

Verse 1

Breathe on me breath of God
Fill me with life anew
That I may love what Thou dost love
And do what Thou wouldst do

Verse 2

Breathe on me breath of God
Until my heart is pure
Until with Thee I will one will
To do and to endure

Verse 3

Breathe on me breath of God
Till I am wholly Thine
Till all this earthly part of me
Glows with Thy fire divine

Verse 4

Breathe on me breath of God
So shall I never die
But live with Thee the perfect life
Of Thine eternity

Same Power by Jeremy Camp

Verse 1

I can see the waters raging at my feet
I can feel the breath of those surrounding me
I can hear the sound of nations rising up
We will not be overtaken
We will not be overcome

Verse 2

I can walk down this dark and painful road
I can face ev’ry fear of the unknown
I can hear all God’s children singing out
We will not be overtaken
We will not be overcome

Chorus

The same power that rose Jesus from the grave
The same power that commands the dead to wake
Lives in us lives in us
The same power that moves mountains when He speaks
The same power that can calm a raging sea
Lives in us lives in us
He lives in us lives in us

Verse 3

We have hope that His promises are true
In His strength there is nothing we can’t do
Yes we know there are greater things in store
We will not be overtaken
We will not be overcome

Bridge

Greater is He that is living in me
He’s conquered our enemy (oh)
No power of darkness
No weapon prevails
We stand here in victory oh
(REPEAT)

In victory yeah
